SS.SAINT // MEMBERSHIP SYSTEM

As part of the crest ring roll out for ss.saint, we sent ring sizers out so customers would know what size to order.

We also created an exclusive membership system to encourage customer account activations. This included a physical key and digital onboarding system.

Membership Landing Page

Invites:

Invites included a ring-sizer, dog-tag (unique coding) and a qr code to direct customers to the landing page.

Content Blocker:

Using custom HTML, CSS and JS, I created a content blocker for exclusive membership content. Members with access need to log in (if not already) to view content/products. Those that don't have access are incentivised to subscribe to the newsletter.

I decided to use this strategy as I want the website to be a hub for exploring the SS.SAINT brand world in depth. But still have scope for providing exclusivity to our most loyal community members.

Compared to the current popular method of password-lock pages with newsletter sign up forms. Which I think are good for promoting launches / mystery, but aren't as good for letting people build deeper relationships with your brand.

Result:

Of the invites sent out, there was a 75% sign-up rate. Based on our cost-estimates this was about 20% cheaper than paid ads. Reach is limited by us only being able to send invites to people that engage with us/know personally. But we plan to keep this system for bespoke products and loyal/vip customers only. Focussing on organic content for our mid-level products and below.
